She was very deteriorated, head mushy, taut skin, large linnear fissures in thigh and arm skin. I believe it was much more than a few days since she had passed.Lips cherry red, blood seeping from eyes, so sad. She was 6lb 1 oz. Very floppy limbs, like cooked chicken. We had to place her on a folded tissue box and wrap her so we could hold her. My 35 yr old daughter had told her OB many times that this baby wasn't moving as much as the other one, that she was experiencing back and abdominal pains. We finally found out that it was caused by placenta abruptio, our doctors never owned up to the cause and to the fact that they should have done an ultrasound or stress test weeks before and maybe She would be here now. They talked us out of an autopsy. He responded to her later , when she asked him why he discouraged an autopsy, he said he" couldn't talk to her because you were irrational." Really, a dead baby after sending many red flags, NPC had trouble finding a heartbeat on June 17, claimed it was the baby's position...My daughter's milk never came in and the week before, everyone told her that her breasts wre deflated. (Afirst for her) How do we determine when this pregnancy shut down and the probable gestational age of this baby?

Our granddaughter was delivered stillborn on June 26 2013.
