Marissa Peterson, SBD is a full time professional doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, student, and SBD Doula.

Hi there! I’ve been certified since 2016. I began this journey following a call to learn more about pregnancy & infant loss, which ended up with me finding Stillbirthday and finding my calling. I became a Faculty Aide because without those working my session, those I could reach out to any time, I never would have finished my certification. My hope for learners on this journey is that they find healing in their own grief, and learn to serve others in deeper ways.
